Terms and Conditions Welcome to our platform! By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. (A) Artists Ticking the below mandatory check box means that I have read and agreed to the Mandatory Terms and Conditions of using this website (also known as "the platform"): Mandatory Terms and Conditions - Earnings: You agree that your earnings from this platform will be based on the "EARNINGS SCHEDULE" below, which is directly dependent on your overall positioning per your allocated group. - You hereby warrant that this Art being uploaded is your original work, or - You hereby warrant that you have obtained permission from the copyright holder of the Art for uploading the Art or part of its contents in this platform (in all media including print and electronic form) material not owned by you, and that you have acknowledged the source; - You hereby warrant that this Art contains no violation of any existing copyright or other third-party right or any material of an obscene, indecent, libelous or otherwise unlawful nature and that to the best of your knowledge this Art does not infringe the rights of others; - You hereby warrant that in the case of a multi-authored Art you have obtained, in writing, authorization to enter into this Agreement on their behalf and that all co-authors have read and agreed the terms of this Agreement; - You further agree that the platform reserves all the right to refrain from uploading this Art, or any parts of it, in the event that the Art or any contents of it breaches any of the above 1 to 4 mandatory terms. - You will indemnify and compensate all persons in all claims and expenses (including legal costs and expenses) arising from any breach of this warranty and the other warranties on your behalf in this Agreement. - You authorize the platform to act on your behalf to defend your copyright in the Art if anyone should infringe it, provided you possess legal rights of ownership on the art, although there is no obligation on the platform to act in this way. ARTISTS EARNING SCHEDULE Payments For Artists Position in the group (*) X Percentage Of Total Group Earnings (**) - Position 1: 10% - Position 2: 5% - Position 3: 4% - Position 4: 3% - Position 5: 2% - Position 6, 7, & 8: 1% each. Your position is based on the aggregate results from ratings by all votes (single votes). ** The total group earnings are determined by the formula: Total earnings = Total group earnings from voters in that group. NB: Payments are only made by the end of the month. When selling your file, you get 85% from the selling price you would have charged. However, a badge code may be entered by a buyer at checkout point to increase your cut to 95% of the selling price. (B) Fans and Judges *How to become a Genre Genius Judge* - Login to ggenre.com as a Fan, get a voting OTP from the admin which costs $1. - Use the OTP to vote for all Artists in the platform, maximum 8 Artists per vote. - Badges are determined by end of every 24 hours. - Get as many badges as possible, the highest badged Fans per end of the month, 20% of the total contesting fans, is selected to be judges (e.g, only 2 out of 10 contestants). *Monthend Talent Shows:* - Each judge will be paid 25% of all the money that came through Fans voting. You can purchase a code either physically at our office in town or through Ecocash or Paynow. If you want to repeat a vote within the same group, then the secondary, third, fourth and fifth votes will be $2 each. We will use methods like OTPs to verify your identity as a voter. NOTE: ADMINS WILL MONITOR YOUR ACTIVITY WITHIN THE PLATFORM. ANY FORM OF OFFENSIVE SPEECH, VULGAR LANGUAGE, OR ANY DISCRIMINATORY ACTIVITY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEING TERMINATED. - Top 5% of voters win badges (first come first served) for each batch. Admin may adjust this percentage to manage demand and supply. - A badge means 10 times a single vote. Winners are encouraged to sell their badges or use them within 1 week. - The platform may buy back unsold badges after one month. (C) Voting Sessions - Each voting session lasts 24 hours. - Each Artist may only contest with one file every 5 days. - Admin decides group assignments (Artists may request preferences). Any schedule changes will be communicated by Admins. (D) TUTORS SPECIFIC MATTERS *Guidance on Livestreaming at ggenre.com:* 1. We will first need to approve your basic qualifications. Then the following 👇. 2. Create an account as an Artist. 3. Click the 3 dots on the top right corner of your account and go under "Start Live". 4. Tick the restriction box. 5. Copy your Livestream link and share with your learners and also with admin +263 78 163 1274 or +263 780 824 356 or ttt.ggenre@gmail.com. 6. When your students try to enter, the link will prompt them to use a purchased voucher. 7. Vouchers are linked to a specific user and cannot be shared by learners. 8. Admin will issue streaming vouchers to all registered students each time a lesson is about to begin (hence, you may share your link atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled time for a lesson) 9. Once Livestreaming, you can flip your camera the way u want and also the students can participate and interact with you using a chat box. 10. For now students will be paying $10 per month (20 lessons, meaning USD$0.5 per lesson). This can be adjusted a bit later on. 11. Tutors will be paid USD$0.45 per student per lesson. *Current running promotion(July 2025 to November 2025)* - Genre Genius is giving out a total of 10% of it's share ownership to willing tutors and teachers. - At the end of each month, the top 2 teachers or tutors with the highest aggregate number of learners will each of them get 1% share at ggenre.com. - Therefore, by the end of 5 months, all the 10% shares will be taken. - The teachers or tutors that will be having atleast 1% share at ggenre at the end of the 5 months will all form part of the online school committee, officialize it's registration and monitor it's teaching processes. _Join us as we grow together in building more flexible employment opportunities for your country_🙏🏽
